My dear Willie
Mrs. Lewes is about to write to Strathtyrum but I send this one line to you to say that by today's post goes the Finale and also the corrected proofs for press. 604 Please send me word of their arrival at once and say whether we may calculate on having proof of Finale here by the 12 October -- if not I will write and tell you where it may be addressed -- the present purpose is to leave this on the early morning of 13th.
Weather splendid -- air pure and mountainous -- and we daily getting stronger! No time for more from
Yours Ever
