Your checque and Lukin's bill 495 arrived this morning. By this post I send all but the closing chapter. Please telegraph its receipt -- the proofs need not be sent until the final chapter is added, and then you can send them to me | Poste Restante | Paris. I couldn't register the last letter because it was Whitmonday and no office was open.
