My dear Willie
We return to the Priory on the 28th -- that is on Wednesday next -- and perhaps the change may do Mrs. Lewes some good although I give up all hope of any permanent good until the book is finally out of hand and she can take a real holiday.
We are glad Simpson has resolved on a holiday -- may he come back a giant refreshed! -- Our Gompliments to the Golfer.
Ever yours
