The inclosed from Delane 184 expresses my feeling exactly.
The letter is an excellent one but by the public who do not know all the aggravations of the case would be looked upon as too strong coming from you and might divert sympathy to Liggins. Pray consider this.
The Major who arrived about an hour ago sends his best regards and is strong for no publication.
