We have this morning received from Messrs Duncan Warren & Gardner, Solicitors, 45 Bloomsbury Square, London, [a letter] stating that they have been requested by Mrs. Mary Ann Evans Lewes to inform us that she was yesterday married to Mr. John Walter Cross of 38 Cornhill. With kindest regards to all at Griff, and hoping that Mrs. Evans is better,
